Europa-Park has confirmed its new themed offerings and accommodation for the upcoming year.

The German theme park resort, which reopens on 28 March 2026, is set to introduce a new international influence to its park, alongside hospitality developments.

The highlight of the upcoming season is the introduction of the Principality of Monaco as the park’s 18th European themed area. This new zone draws direct inspiration from the Mediterranean and is situated around the existing Silver Star rollercoaster. The development aims to replicate the architecture and atmosphere of the Riviera, featuring elegant marinas and various culinary offerings.

A central feature of the area will be an exclusive exhibition of cars belonging to the collection of Prince Albert II, designed to bring a touch of Monte-Carlo glamour to the park in Rust. This permanent addition follows a collaboration between the park and the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival during the previous winter season.

New accommodation

Further expansion is taking place at Silver Lake City, where the Riverside Western Lodge is scheduled to open on 18 June 2026. The new facility will provide 119 family rooms and a dedicated sauna area. The surrounding area will see a variety of new amenities, including the Silver Lake Brewery, which will serve home-brewed Silver Lake Brew beer, and two new dining outlets: Grandpa Will’s Hot Dogs and the Cold Rush Western Ice Creams parlour.

For guest convenience, the development includes a shop that combines traditional retail with a 24/7 self-service section. Leisure facilities in this area are being bolstered by a permanent YULLBE Go VR location and a 40-square-metre arcade. In early July, the site will also welcome the Little Heroes Children’s House, a project for young people recovering from cancer, developed with the ‘RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e.V.’ foundation.

Dining and digital updates

The Mack family-owned park is diversifying its food and beverage options for 2026. Renowned food creator Sally is launching Sally’s Café in the blue fire Dome within the Iceland-themed area, offering cakes and coffee specialities. Additionally, the former Pastaria di Enzo has been converted into Enzo’s Ice Cream Spaghetteria.

Digital integration is also being prioritised, with the Europa-Park & Rulantica app now supporting pre-orders and mobile payments for food and drinks. This service will initially be available at the CMAK snack bar in the Russia area and the Moby Dick snack bar in Iceland.

Entertainment and resort enhancements

The 4D Magic Cinema will host a new animated production, SNORRI 4D – Catch Me If You Candy, produced by MACK Magic. On stage, Timothy Trust and Diamond will perform Wonderlab – Magic out of Control, a comedy magic show set in a futuristic laboratory.

At the Rulantica water world, a new outdoor shop named Bubba’s Butikk has replaced the former Strandhus Svalgur and Snorri’s Piknikbud outlets. Later in the year, new content will also be added to the Snorri Snorkling VR attraction.

The resort’s high-end dining is also seeing changes, with the two-star Michelin restaurant Ammolite – House of Light undergoing a rebranding. Head chef Peter Hagen-Wiest will oversee a modernised space that includes a walk-in wine cellar and a separate entrance. Hotel updates include new box-spring beds at Hotel Santa Isabel and the renaming of the Palladio Suite at Hotel Colosseo to the Claudia Cardinale Suite.
