Registration has officially opened for IAAPA Expo Asia 2026, which will be hosted at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Under the inspiring theme “Pursue the Wonder,” the event is scheduled to run from 9 to 12 June 2026. Hong Kong serves as a strategic global hub and gateway for the Asia-Pacific market, providing a world-class stage for thousands of industry professionals to connect and explore the products driving growth across the sector.
The trade show floor, which will be open from 10 to 12 June, is expected to feature hundreds of exhibiting companies. These exhibitors will spotlight cutting-edge innovations, including advancements in artificial intelligence, new safety features, immersive design, and sustainable operations. The expo is designed to be consumable for professionals across various niches, including theme parks, water parks, family entertainment centres, museums, zoos, and resorts.
Visionary speakers and leadership insights
A major highlight of the 2026 event is the Leadership Breakfast, headlined by Su Zhigang, the Founder and Chairman of Chimelong Group. Under the leadership of Mr. Su, Chimelong has evolved into one of the most visited resort destinations globally, earning recognition for its ability to integrate conservation and entertainment at a massive scale. In 2025, Mr. Su was inducted into the IAAPA Hall of Fame, making him the first Chinese industry leader to receive this prestigious honour.

The event will also host the Women’s Leadership Luncheon, a platform for authentic conversation and idea-sharing among female voices in the sector. Featured speakers for this session include:
- Jeanette Chen, Vice President, Merlin Group & General Manager, LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort
- Lena Lee, Executive Vice President, Attractions & Destination Experience, Resorts World Sentosa
- Masako Taguchi, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Universal Studios Japan
Regional momentum and education
Jack Chan, Executive Director and Vice President of IAAPA Asia Pacific, emphasised the significance of returning to this host city. “This year’s show reflects the incredible momentum driving the Asia-Pacific region,” Chan stated. “Across APAC, we’re seeing the type of investments into new attractions that will lead to elevated guest experiences. Returning to host Expo Asia in Hong Kong creates more opportunities for professionals to learn, grow, and implement best practices”.
Learning opportunities extend beyond the convention walls through signature EDUTours. Attendees can gain behind-the-scenes access to prominent local developments, including sustainability initiatives at Ocean Park Hong Kong, the growth of the family entertainment centre Kidztopia, and the landmark Kai Tak Sports Park. The social schedule includes an Opening Reception at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and an optional post-tour to the Qingyuan Chimelong International Forest Resort in Mainland China from 13 to 14 June.
