A UK-based experience specialist has been appointed to deliver projects in Bangladesh, as part of a broader national investment in leisure and cultural infrastructure.
UK immersive experience specialist LCI Productions has secured a new contract with Bangladesh-based developer UCC Infratech.
The agreement outlines the delivery of a series of immersive dark ride theatre attractions designed to support the country’s growing tourism and educational entertainment sectors. This initiative forms part of a wider government-backed strategy to expand access to world-class leisure experiences across Bangladesh as the Asian nation accelerates investment in culture and visitor attractions.
Under the contract, LCI Productions will design and deliver multi-seat dark ride theatre experiences. These attractions will feature wraparound projection environments, high-resolution visual content, spatial audio systems, and a range of environmental effects such as wind and scent. The narrative-driven adventures aim to combine entertainment with educational storytelling, bringing immersive learning experiences to millions of visitors across multiple national locations.
Expanding a national experience economy
The contract strengthens a long-standing relationship between the two companies. LCI Productions and UCC previously collaborated on Bangladesh’s first large-scale water screen and fountain show at the Swadhinata Stambha Complex, situated within Suhrawardy Udyan Park in Dhaka. Located at one of the nation’s key historical sites, that free nightly attraction combines fountain effects, water screen projection, and distributed audio to outline the story of the nation’s independence and development, successfully encouraging longer visitor dwell times.

Phased rollout of multimedia attractions
UCC continues to play a central role in pioneering leisure and attraction developments that enhance the cultural offering and visitor economy in Bangladesh. Partnering on this rollout is LCI Productions, which brings more than three decades of global experience in delivering multimedia attractions and destination-based entertainment. The company specialises in blending physical and digital environments using projection mapping, interactive technologies, and multisensory effects.
The Bangladesh dark ride programme is scheduled to commence installation in phases. Further operational and development details are expected to be announced by the partners as project construction progresses.
