An Austrian attractions specialist has announced plans to launch a second indoor entertainment park in Poland, expanding the brand to a new resort region.
The announcement from Attraktion! comes shortly after the company secured two major accolades at the Park World Excellence Awards 2026, where the initial Querion venue in Piechowice earned top industry honours.
The upcoming project will be located in Kolobrzeg, a popular seaside tourism destination on Poland’s Baltic coast. Scheduled to open in summer 2027, the new Querion venue aims to provide a year-round, weather-independent entertainment offering catering to local residents, tourists, families, and organised groups. The project marks a continuation of the partnership between designer and supplier Attraktion! and Polish resort operator Górskie Resorty.
Following the template established by Querion Piechowice, which opened in June 2026, the Kolobrzeg park will replicate its predecessor’s mix of media-based experiences. Planned attractions include the FlyXD flying theatre, Circulum 360 Interactive, Explorer 5D, a 4D5D theatre, and an Immersive Experience Theatre. These components will be connected by a futuristic common area designed to weave individual rides into a unified visitor journey. Attraktion! is responsible for full park design as well as supplying all technical, creative, and media elements.
Industry recognition
The expansion announcement coincides with Attraktion!’s double win at the Park World Excellence Awards 2026. At the ceremony, Querion Piechowice was named Best Family Entertainment Centre, taking top honors among competing family destinations across the EMEA region.
Additionally, Attraktion! Chief Executive Officer Markus Beyr received the Industry Icon – Supplier award. The category recognises individuals from supply, design, or manufacturing businesses who have made a notable impact on the EMEA leisure sector. Markus Beyr was cited for his contributions to attraction innovation, media-based ride systems, interactive experiences, and full destination design.
Attraktion! was also shortlisted for Best Supplier at the awards. Two of its ride systems received further nominations: the FlyXD Flying Theatre and Circulum 360 Interactive were shortlisted in the Innovation Rides, Games, Shows category, with Circulum 360 Interactive also earning a shortlist spot for Best Dark Ride.

Following the successful delivery of Querion Piechowice, we are proud to continue our partnership with Gorskie Resorty and bring this media-based destination format to another major tourism region in Poland.”

Querion is owned and operated by Górskie Resorty, one of Poland’s principal hotel operators. The group manages a portfolio of over 3,000 hotel and aparthotel units across fourteen resort locations situated in mountainous and coastal regions throughout Poland.
Attraktion!, headquartered in Vienna, specialises in designing and supplying media-based attractions, interactive technology, and complete destination projects. The firm also operates Immersium: Wien, an immersive museum venue in Vienna that acts as a permanent showcase for themed storytelling and interactive technology. Previous projects by the manufacturer include Hypersphere 360 at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, which previously received the IAAPA Impact Award and the Blooloop Innovation Award for World’s Most Immersive Attraction.
