Attractions Daily has been appointed as an official media partner for IAAPA Expo Europe 2026, delivering live, on-the-ground coverage from the largest visitor attractions trade show in the region.
Readers across the global theme park, visitor attraction, and commercial leisure sectors will receive continuous updates directly from the exhibition floor as the premier industry event returns to London.
The dedicated editorial and reporting team from Attractions Daily will be present throughout the event, which takes place from 21 to 25 September 2026 at Excel London. Returning to the United Kingdom‘s capital for the first time in four years, the trade show represents a 50 percent expansion in floor size compared to when London last hosted the event in 2022. The 2026 edition spans over 22,000 square metres of dedicated exhibition space, hosting more than 840 international exhibitors showcasing new ride technology, design concepts, operational equipment, and guest management solutions.
Alongside the expansive main exhibition floor, the scheduled event programme features more than 175 expert speakers participating in over 60 education sessions. These sessions address key operational topics including sustainability, safety, leadership, and workforce development within the attractions sector. Food and beverage solutions will also receive an expanded focus at the exhibition, reflecting benchmark data from IAAPA showing that dining and hospitality options currently drive between 30 and 35 percent of total theme park revenue.
Attendees can participate in exclusive EDUTours offering behind-the-scenes operational access, including sold-out tours at Chessington World of Adventures Resort and LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. Additionally, a Leadership Breakfast will feature keynote insights delivered by Robert Dahl, CEO of Karls Erlebnis-Dorf, and Wouter Dekkers, CEO of Momentum Leisure.

Reflecting on the sheer scale of the upcoming show, Peter van der Schans, Executive Director and Vice President of IAAPA EMEA, outlined the context of returning to the region. “Returning to London after four years is both exciting and humbling. The UK is home to IAAPA’s largest European membership base and continues to be a market with influence on indoor entertainment trends within neighbouring regions… We’re proud to come back with our largest Expo to date, creating even more opportunities for connection, collaboration, and inspiration.”
