Germany’s biggest theme park is bringing together the colours of autumn with the atmosphere of Christmas during the transition of the seasons.

Running from 2 to 27 November 2026, the event offers visitors seasonal decorations, family attractions, roller coasters and entertainment, alongside a selection of special shows and food offerings. The programme also includes an exhibition dedicated to the work of artist James Rizzi, while the wider Europa-Park Resort continues to offer experiences beyond the theme park itself.

HALLOWinter combines two seasonal themes across the park, with snow-covered fir trees and colourful chrysanthemums appearing alongside pumpkins, autumn leaves and traditional Christmas decorations.

Visitors can enjoy more than 100 attractions and a varied programme of shows, with experiences available for different ages and interests. On warmer autumn days, guests can cool off on the water coaster Poseidon or experience the Mack multi-launch roller coaster Voltron Nevera. Spinning roller coaster Euro-Mir will be giving guests its last rides before its permanent closure on 9 January 2027.

The park’s latest themed area, Monaco, will be open, offering an indoor alternative when the weather is less favourable. Among the attractions in the area are the Silver Star hypercoaster and GRAND PRIX EDventure, an interactive 3D family experience in which visitors join the racing crew of Ed & Edda. The attraction challenges participants to demonstrate teamwork and skill as they take part in the racing-themed adventure.

Several existing attractions have also received seasonal transformations. Feria Swing becomes Flight of the Vampires, while Koffiekopjes takes on the name Griezelkopjes. Both feature spooky decorations and atmospheric music to complement the HALLOWinter setting.

The park has advised that a selection of attractions and shows may be unavailable during the HALLOWinter period, depending on the progress of seasonal installation and dismantling work.

Seasonal entertainment

A varied entertainment programme is another feature of HALLOWinter, with performances taking place across several of the park’s themed areas.

At the Globe Theater, visitors can enjoy the new show Crazy Christmas – A Magical Gift-Giving, which will be performed several times daily between 11 and 15 November.

The ice skating production Surpr’Ice presents The Vampire Circus on Ice promises a combination of skating and theatrical performance, while the Italian open-air stage hosts Venezia Macabra, transporting audiences into an atmospheric world inspired by Venice.

At Limerick Castle, the entertainment programme includes Limerick Bubbles and the puppet horror musical Bone Sound. Elsewhere, visitors can experience acrobatics, dance, singing, comedy, magic and other live performances.

Two additional visual spectacles feature in the programme. At Lake Europe, Hellfire Fountains combines fire and water in a dedicated show, while the French-themed area hosts Miraculeux, a projection mapping presentation.

Art also features in this year’s programme, with more than 60 works by internationally renowned artist James Rizzi being displayed in Europa-Park’s Croatia themed area until 9 January 2027. The collection draws on themes from Rizzi’s artistic work, combining them with the atmosphere and visual identity of Europa-Park.

Autumn flavours

Europa-Park‘s food and beverage offering also reflects the combination of seasons, with approximately 60 eateries providing a range of dining options across the resort.

Seasonal dishes include creamy pumpkin soup and the Halloween burger, alongside winter favourites such as venison goulash and Christmas biscuits. Mulled wine, punch and other hot drinks are also available to help visitors warm up during cooler November days.

Guests looking for international cuisine can visit Bamboe Baai for Asian specialities or SPICES – Kitchens of the World, which offers dishes from around the globe.

For a more relaxed stop, Kaffi Hús will provide a Nordic-inspired setting where visitors can enjoy coffee and cake.

Splash and dine

Visitors looking to extend their stay can also experience Rulantica, Europa-Park Resort’s water world, which offers indoor and outdoor attractions throughout much of the year.

The indoor facilities include numerous water slides, a large wave pool and a water playground. Among the headline attractions is Vikingløp, described by Europa-Park as Europe’s largest speed slide, where visitors can compete in a series of sliding races.

Outside, the heated Svømmepøl features an outdoor swim-up bar, allowing visitors to enjoy the pool even during colder weather. The Tønnevirvel water carousel also operates throughout the year, with visitors riding in round boats and competing in water-splashing duels.

The wider Europa-Park Resort offers further experiences for visitors planning a longer stay.

Located a short distance from Europa-Park, Eatrenalin provides a multi-sensory dining experience that takes guests through different culinary environments over a period of more than two hours. The restaurant combines gastronomy with an immersive presentation designed to engage multiple senses and received its first Michelin star this year.

The Europa-Park Dinner-Show will also return at Europa-Park Teatro, combining live music, magic, comedy and artistic performances with a four-course menu.

The resort’s overnight accommodation will be decorated to reflect the autumn and winter seasons, including the western-themed Silver Lake City, home to the Riverside Western Lodge, log cabins and covered wagons.

Europa-Park’s HALLOWinter season runs daily from 2 to 27 November 2026, with the park opening at 11am and remaining open until at least 7pm. The traditional winter season then begins on 28 November, continuing until 9 January 2027.
